A client in Florida is looking for an anesthetist for a 40-day assignment. The provider would manage 8 to 12 patients per day across 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, mostly Monday through Friday, in an inpatient setting with no call duties.
The role centers on operative cases performed under the medical direction of an anesthesiologist, with ultrasound used for nerve blocks. The caseload is broad and leans heavily toward cardiology, and it also covers orthopedics, neurology, ENT, cath lab work, cardiac procedures, podiatry, endoscopy, interventional radiology, vascular surgery, and robotic surgery. The staffing model is made up of anesthesiologists and CRNAs, and the facility uses Cerner as its EMR.
