Full details

This is a 72-day locum tenens assignment for a CRNA at a clinic in Texas, with a start date of 12/15/2025. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, including Sunday day shifts from 7am to 7pm, and the role carries no call duties.

The anesthetist will provide anesthesia across a broad surgical mix, covering gynecology, orthopedics, neurospine, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, interventional radiology, some cardiovascular cases apart from open heart, vascular work, and robotic procedures. Spinal anesthesia skills are central to the role, and care extends to adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients, always under medical direction within the anesthesiology team.

Daily duties include pre-anesthetic evaluation, building anesthetic plans, monitoring vital signs during surgery, and overseeing recovery after anesthesia. The clinician also keeps timely, accurate records in the Epic EHR, follows clinic policies, takes part in quality improvement efforts, and works to protect patient safety and comfort across the perioperative period.

Candidates need an active Texas CRNA license, and familiarity with Epic is preferred. The assignment may be extended.

Compensation is described as strong, travel expenses are covered, and A-rated medical malpractice coverage is provided.
