Full details

New York-Presbyterian Queens is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide patient-centered anesthesia across a range of surgical procedures. The position is day-based on a flexible schedule, and a sign-on bonus is available. The hospital is a tertiary care facility serving a highly diverse patient population.

At this site, CRNAs may deliver anesthetic care in subspecialties such as obstetrics, regional anesthesia, pediatrics, and thoracic surgery. Practitioners can choose from three 13-hour shifts or a mix of 16- and 24-hour shifts. Weekend and night work is required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience as a CRNA and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP or DNAP) degree. Required qualifications include certification as a nurse anesthetist, a Master's of Science in Nursing, a current New York State RN license or willingness to obtain one, and BCLS certification.

The salary range is listed as $270,000 to $335,000 per year. Compensation is based on competitive base pay with recognition of experience, education, and licensure, along with benefits and opportunities for growth. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of the site because all roles require on-site presence, and travel expenses are not reimbursed.
