Full details

The Henry Ford Hospital Wyandotte location is seeking a skilled and compassionate CRNA to join its anesthesia care team on a full-time basis. The nurse anesthetist would give intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to keep patients free of pain during surgery, obstetrical deliveries, and other medical or dental procedures. The role may involve caring for patients of every age and A.S.A. class, including geriatric and pediatric patients, and providing airway management across the hospital as needed.

The caseload spans ten operating rooms handling VATS and neuro cases, three interventional procedure rooms, and GI, cath lab, EP lab, and MRI areas, along with a busy obstetrics unit. Shifts run 8, 10, 12, 16, or 24 hours. The CRNA would complete pre-anesthesia assessments and build individualized anesthesia plans, deliver general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care alongside surgeons and other providers, watch patients during procedures and address any anesthesia-related complications, and provide post-anesthesia care and pain control. Accurate charting that meets hospital policy and regulatory standards is also expected.

Candidates need a current RN license and NBCRNA certification, plus a master's or doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills are expected, along with the ability to collaborate smoothly with anesthesiologists and other clinicians. Required credentials include Michigan RN licensure, state specialty certification, clinical privileges, and ALS, BLS, and PALS certifications, all kept current.

The posting notes a sign-on bonus of $40k for eligible candidates. Benefits include a competitive salary, family-forming support such as paid parental leave, adoption assistance, donor assistance, and fertility coverage, and a 403(b) retirement plan with a 3.5% salary match. Medical, dental, and vision coverage is available, with HSA, FSA, and DCFSA tax-savings account options.
