North Knoxville Medical Center is seeking a per diem CRNA who can work in a highly autonomous practice setting alongside an experienced, supportive team. The role can be structured around call duties with added earning potential, or around a predictable non-call schedule, so candidates can choose an arrangement that suits their professional goals and personal life.

The anesthesia group values CRNAs who practice at the top of their training, and leadership and colleagues are described as invested in each provider's success. Compensation is listed at $175 per hour. Schedule options are flexible, and case assignments center on orthopedics, general surgery, adult ENT, and gastrointestinal procedures.

Responsibilities include delivering full anesthesia care across a range of surgical cases, completing pre-anesthesia assessments, and obtaining informed consent. The CRNA develops and reviews anesthetic plans with patients, manages induction, maintenance, and emergence, and monitors physiological status while intervening as clinical needs arise. The position also contributes to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Applicants need a current license as a registered professional nurse and a diploma from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Holding current certification, including recertification through the AANA's certification council, is also required.
