The Advanced Cardiovascular Institute at The Medical Center in Houston, Texas is seeking a per diem CRNA to work one day each week, on Thursdays. The role is CRNA-only, with no physician supervision. The facility is a specialized, outpatient cardiovascular center focused on minimally invasive procedures for heart rhythm disorders and peripheral vascular disease.

Assigned cases are cardiovascular procedures. The CRNA would provide full anesthesia care across these surgeries, complete pre-anesthesia evaluations, obtain informed consent, and build and review anesthetic plans with patients. Responsibilities also include managing induction, maintenance and emergence, watching the patient's physiological status and intervening as needed, and helping with departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

The position pays $225 per hour. Candidates need a current registered professional nursing license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
