The anesthetist would prepare and give anesthesia and oversee patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The role also calls for keeping up with new anesthesia techniques, equipment, and medications, along with thorough and accurate charting.

Candidates need an active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice, and a license must be obtained if the assignment requires one. Licenses cannot be flagged or under investigation. Education requirements include a BSN, an MSN or DNP from an accredited nurse anesthesia program (with the DNP required starting in 2025), and NBCRNA certification, with continuing education needed to maintain certification and licensure. Preferred experience is one to two years working as a CRNA or in an anesthesia setting.

Strong clinical skill in delivering anesthesia, sound judgment, clear communication with surgical teams, and attention to detail while adapting to changing patient conditions are all valued. The staffing agency offers hospital placements across varied care settings, pay it describes as competitive and transparent, travel and lodging coverage, credentialing and licensing support, timekeeping tools, and malpractice coverage with risk management support.
