This full-time, ongoing locum position begins in September and covers anesthesia services at two facilities. Shifts run 10 hours, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays, with weekday beeper call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM and weekend call running a full 24 hours. The successful candidate must be ready to rotate between St. Petersburg General and the Pasadena location, and scheduling will need to flex with each day's surgical volume.

The role blends independent case work with medical direction. The physician-to-CRNA ratio is 1:3 to 1:4 at St. Petersburg and 1:5 at Pasadena, with roughly 5 to 20 cases handled per day. The caseload includes general surgery, orthopedics, upper and lower extremity procedures, regional blocks, obstetric spinals and epidurals, TAP blocks, endoscopy, and routine community anesthesia work.

Candidates need board certification in anesthesiology and at least one to two years of experience, with five to ten years preferred. Comfort supervising CRNAs while also carrying a personal caseload is essential. The practice uses Meditech, Medaxion, PODS, and QGenda for scheduling and records.
