Full details
This is a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Florida beginning June 8, 2026, calling for an anesthetist to deliver comprehensive anesthesia care across a range of settings. The schedule runs Monday through Friday and includes 7:00am to 3:00pm, 3:00pm to 5:00pm, and 5:00pm to 7:00am blocks, with shift lengths of 8, 10, 12, or 24 hours.
The provider would cover the operating room, cardiovascular, and EP cath areas, along with trauma services, and would also serve as board runner. Cases span cardiac, thoracic, obstetric, orthopedic, neuro, trauma, and general surgery, as well as GI, TEE, podiatry, plastics, OMFS, endoscopy, ENT, urology, and spine. Overnight shifts include backup call.
Board certification in anesthesiology is required, and the facility uses the Cerner EMR system. The package includes strong compensation, coverage of travel-related expenses, and A-rated medical malpractice insurance. A dedicated recruiter is available to discuss future travel opportunities.
