Full details

The role centers on anesthesia care across operating rooms, obstetrics, the cath lab, and interventional radiology, with a caseload that spans endoscopy, ear-nose-throat, gynecology, interventional radiology, joint replacement, plastics, podiatry, spine, and urology procedures.

Work is scheduled on weekdays only, and the day, evening, and overnight coverage is spread across several blocks, with obstetrics coverage running around the clock in certain windows.

Candidates must hold board certification in anesthesiology. Familiarity with the Cerner electronic medical record system is a plus rather than a requirement.

The package includes competitive pay, coverage of travel-related expenses, and malpractice insurance rated A by the carrier. The assignment is supported by a recruiter who can help with later travel placements, and the posting notes that locum work often brings more control over one's calendar.
