This is a 90-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, with a start date of September 10, 2026. The provider would deliver full anesthesia care and work under medical direction across a broad mix of surgical cases, covering cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgical, and pediatric procedures. The ideal candidate is an experienced anesthetist who is at ease caring for both adult and pediatric patients and skilled across a wide range of anesthetic techniques.

Clinical duties include general, gynecological, urological, orthopedic, spine, vascular, cardiac, thoracic, out-of-OR, and spinal anesthesia. Specific responsibilities involve managing anesthesia for complex cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, head, spine, neurologic, pediatric, and thoracic cases. The role also calls for adult, pediatric, and trauma general anesthesia, along with ventilation management, assessment and treatment of acute volume and blood pressure problems, and arterial line placement.

Applicants should hold certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). The facility uses Epic as its electronic medical record system.
