This locum tenens role for a CRNA is based in High Point, North Carolina. The anesthesia practice works under a team model with 100% medical direction. Cases exclude transplant, head, and neonatal procedures, while the remainder of the caseload, including healthy pediatric patients, is covered.

Shifts are variable, as the group runs several different schedules. Call is optional; a dedicated group of CRNAs takes call and receives a differential for doing so. Weekend coverage is handled by a weekend CRNA group, and providers may be asked to trade shifts or pick up freelance work to cover colleagues' vacations.

Overtime is paid at the internal freelance rate. All clinical staff share holiday coverage, typically one 8-hour holiday shift plus one backup 12-hour shift per year, though those in the call pool are excused from the holiday shift. Call CRNAs generally cover overnight hours. Charting is done in Epic.
