Full details

A facility needs a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a locum tenens assignment to cover a current staffing need. The schedule is weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with call duties in addition.

The anesthetist would handle a broad caseload spanning orthopedic, endoscopic, general, eye, vascular, gynecologic, pediatric, urologic, and trauma procedures, plus cardiac cases and acute pain management. Candidates must be able to show proof of experience with epidurals, spinal anesthesia, and nerve blocks.

Care is delivered in a setting with physicians on site and little to no supervision, and the facility uses Cerner as its electronic medical record system. Credentialing may take up to 60 days.

Licensing terms allow the provider to practice on a compact license for the first six months while temporary coverage is in place. Full privileges beyond that point require a full Indiana RN license.
