Full details
The schedule is five 8-hour days a week, 07:00 to 15:00. The role is a full-time locum assignment for a CRNA beginning January 1, 2027, covering the full month of January. The facility strongly prefers a provider who can commit to that entire period, and additional coverage beyond January is anticipated though future scheduling is still being finalized. The assignment takes place at a single location in Casper, Wyoming, with no travel between facilities.
The position is listed as an active-license opportunity, requiring a Wyoming license or IMLC membership.
Clinical responsibilities center on general and regional anesthesia, and the provider must be comfortable performing spinal anesthetics independently, since spinal is a required skill. Expected case types include orthopedics, spine, general surgery with robotic procedures, gynecology, urology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, and ENT, with neurosurgery, adult and pediatric anesthesia, epidural work, airway management, and bronchoscopy listed as additional experience. Peripheral nerve blocks are welcome but not mandatory.
Candidates should hold current PALS and ATLS certifications from AHA, and ACLS is needed if conscious sedation privileges are requested. Hours must be documented in Vemsta. Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants are not permitted in Wyoming, so only CRNAs are considered.
The hospital is a 16-bed surgical and specialty facility with a varied surgical caseload spanning bariatrics, orthopedics, spine, neurosurgery, and several specialty services. Submissions are prioritized for providers who can offer maximum availability across January 2027.
