Full details

This full-time locums assignment in Clare, Michigan is built for CRNAs who want a flexible schedule alongside steady, long-term work. The practice runs on an independent CRNA model, and providers can select 4x10 or 5x8 shifts, with 5x10 also possibly considered. Coverage is set to start December 7, 2026 and will continue until a permanent provider is brought on.

The caseload is mostly outpatient at roughly 80 to 90 percent, with the remainder inpatient at about 10 to 20 percent. Anesthesia types include general, MAC, regional, GI endoscopy, laparoscopic abdominal surgery, eye and cataract procedures, podiatric, orthopedic, and occasional vascular cases, along with TEEs, cardioversions, IV access, and airway management. Regional blocks are optional, and refresher support is offered for providers who want to sharpen that skill. Orientation and proctoring take only one to two business days.

Call excludes obstetrics. Weeknight coverage runs until 11:00 PM, and weekend coverage runs from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a one-hour response expectation. The rotation works out to about one call in every three, plus approximately one to two holidays each year. Providers on the two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off pattern would take a single weekend of call during their on-site stretch.

Candidates need CRNA certification, an active Michigan license, and BLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials. Comfort practicing independently and with the listed case mix and call duties is expected. Applicants must also supply case logs showing CRNA services for at least 75 patients over the previous 12 months. The Epic EMR is used, and blocks are available for those who wish to refresh their skills.
