This is a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan with a start date of April 6, 2026. The anesthetist would float among three separate clinical sites to deliver a broad range of anesthesia care.

Case work spans scopes, routine procedures, laparoscopic abdominal surgery, ophthalmology including cataracts, podiatry, orthopedics, vascular, and cardiology cases such as TEEs and cardioversions, plus GI cases. Providers would give general, MAC, and regional anesthesia, with blocks optional and refresher training offered. Ward and Emergency Department coverage is also included, covering IV and airway access and expert support. The mix is expected to be about 80 to 90 percent outpatient and 10 to 20 percent inpatient.

Board certification in Anesthesiology is required, and the facilities use Epic as their EMR. The package includes strong compensation, covered travel-related expenses, and A-rated malpractice insurance. A dedicated recruiter is available for future assignments.
