Full details
A locum CRNA is needed in Florida to cover a client practice, with coverage wanted as soon as the provider is credentialed and continuing after that. Applicants need a Florida license and board certification, and must be willing to take occasional call.
Call is taken from home on a 1-in-6 weekend rotation covering Saturday and Sunday.
The practice runs a model in which MDs and CRNAs share coverage. Case types include orthopedics, neurology, vascular, healthy pediatric patients, endoscopy, urology and outpatient work, with roughly 6,000 cases a year recorded in Meditech. CRNAs perform spinals, along with a limited number of epidurals and regional blocks.
Compensation is an hourly rate described as competitive. Malpractice insurance is covered, and travel and accommodations are paid.
