Full details
The schedule is 8-hour days, 07:00 to 15:00. A staffing firm is seeking a certified CRNA for locum coverage at a client facility in Colorado. Coverage is needed as soon as the provider is credentialed, and the need is expected to continue while the client recruits permanently. Credentialing typically takes 30 to 60 days.
Required qualifications include an active Colorado license and current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA registration, with AHA ACLS and PALS certification specifically required. The practice model is all CRNA, with no physician anesthesia supervision. Staffing is two providers per day across a team of physicians, CRNAs, and APPs, and the site has three operating rooms and uses the EPIC EMR.
The case mix includes endoscopy, orthopedics, OB/GYN, general surgery, urology, dental, and very light pediatric cases. Required techniques are nerve blocks, spinal anesthesia, and epidurals. Call runs from the evening into the early morning every other week, with a night shift on every third weekend.
Candidates must be available for at least two-week blocks. The staffing firm offers competitive hourly pay, covers malpractice insurance, and provides paid travel and accommodations. A referral bonus of up to $2500 is available for candidates the firm places.
