Full details

This full-time CRNA role is based at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, a Level I trauma center in Rockford, Illinois. The nonprofit Catholic hospital serves the surrounding community, and its surgical teams work in a busy, high-pressure setting. CRNAs hold a visible role at the facility, which emphasizes collaboration.

The position covers a broad mix of cases, including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, plastics, cardiac, neurology, and other specialties.

Responsibilities include delivering full anesthesia care across a range of procedures, completing pre-anesthesia assessments, and securing informed consent. The CRNA also builds and reviews anesthetic plans with patients, manages induction, maintenance, and recovery from anesthesia, and tracks patient vital signs while intervening as necessary. The role further contributes to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Qualifications include a current registered nurse license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Compensation is listed at a $270K salary with a $50K sign-on incentive. The benefits package covers medical, life, vision, and dental coverage, disability and accidental death insurance, generous time off, and flexible spending and health savings accounts. Malpractice coverage is fully paid, and loan repayment and training assistance are available.
