This per diem and/or 1099 CRNA role is based at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Florida. The hospital is a 335-bed facility with a 130-year history of serving its community and has been recognized among America's 50 Best hospitals. It is part of Flagler Health, a broader healthcare organization focused on the physical, social and economic wellbeing of Northeast Florida.

Anesthesia coverage spans a wide range of specialties, including general, endoscopy, orthopedic, obstetric, vascular, neurological, gynecological, urological, radiology and electrophysiology cases. The CRNA would carry out full anesthesia care for these procedures, beginning with pre-anesthesia assessments and informed consent, then building and reviewing anesthetic plans with patients. Responsibilities also include managing induction, maintenance and emergence, watching the patient's physiological status and intervening as necessary, and contributing to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registered professional nurse license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. The position pays $150 per hour, and fully paid malpractice insurance coverage is provided.
