The Department of Anesthesiology at the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine, UT Health San Antonio, is recruiting a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a per-diem faculty role as a non-tenure-track specialist. The position covers the UT Health Multispecialty and Research Hospital, UT ambulatory sites, and other clinical venues as they are developed, generally Monday through Friday on an as-needed basis. The department is looking for a caring, driven clinician dedicated to patient care.

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Texas registered nurse license, be a graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and hold CRNA certification or have it pending. Registration as an Advanced Practice Nurse with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, or registration pending, is also required, along with a current ACLS certification. The role calls for broad skill across anesthetic techniques, including regional and general anesthesia and invasive monitoring.
