A locum tenens assignment is open for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at an established medical center in Plattsburgh, New York. The position is hospital-based, runs on a days schedule, and starts as soon as possible. The patient population covers all ages.

The anesthesia role centers on delivering full care across a range of surgical cases, watching patients' vital signs and adjusting anesthetic levels as needed. The CRNA works alongside surgical teams to support good patient outcomes and educates patients and their families about anesthesia and related care. The position is expected to include working during two of the four winter holidays, plus call and weekend shifts as the facility requires.

Candidates need current CRNA certification and an active, unrestricted state license. The role calls for broad skill across anesthesia techniques, strong interpersonal abilities for communicating with patients and care teams, and comfort problem-solving under pressure. The ability to work independently while coordinating with interdisciplinary colleagues is also expected.
