A client in New York is looking for an experienced anesthetist for a 120-day assignment. The role is full-time and the schedule is flexible, with call and weekend coverage required as needed, though weekends cannot be guaranteed every time.

The caseload spans general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, GI and endoscopy, and emergency or urgent surgical procedures. Cases involving heads and hearts are excluded. The provider would deliver anesthesia across these service lines and handle urgent surgical needs as they arise.

Candidates should hold certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists, along with ACLS, ATCN and BLS credentials. Experience with the Epic electronic medical record system is part of the requirements.

Call is performed from outside the facility when needed, and the setting is listed as clinic and call. Patient volume runs roughly four to seven cases per day depending on the procedures scheduled. The team includes anesthesiologists, other CRNAs, OR and PACU nurses, surgical technologists and multidisciplinary surgical staff.
