Full details
This locum tenens assignment is based in Cadillac, Michigan, and runs a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the week, with on-call coverage from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The on-call schedule is not in-house, and weekend call runs from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. The provider would work independently without supervision.
The surgical service averages 25 cases per day across five operating rooms. Caseload includes orthopedics, general surgery, endoscopy, dental, and urology. The facility is a Level 3 trauma center with about 23,555 emergency room visits per year, and it serves patients of all ages. Charting is done in the Plexus EMR.
The anesthesia team includes four part-time anesthesiologists and three full-time CRNAs. Required certifications are BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
