The schedule is 8-hour days, 07:00 to 15:00. This locum CRNA role covers a surgery center in Northern Michigan. Candidates need an active Michigan license and current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA registration, with ACLS and PALS required. Credentialing typically takes 60 to 90 days.

The position carries no call and no weekend work. Cases center on general surgery, orthopedics, and joint replacements, and the provider must demonstrate proficiency with nerve blocks such as ISB, supraclavicular, intermediate cervical plexus for clavicle work, and possibly axillary, popliteal, ACB, IPACK, and genicular blocks.

Under the supervision model, physicians handle preoperative evaluations, run the operating room boards, and supervise, and they may enter a room when needed, with the surgeon serving as supervisor of the CRNAs. CRNAs staff the rooms. Each day includes four MD, CRNA, or APP staff across three operating rooms, and the facility uses SIS as its electronic medical record.
