This locum tenens position for a CRNA in Miami, Florida is ongoing, with a length of need listed as 4-6 months and an 8-hour shift. Temporary or expedited privileges are available for 90 days, and only clean files are considered.
The caseload spans general, OB/GYN, outpatient, neurology, orthopedics, interventional radiology, GI, robotics, pediatric, urology, vascular and thoracic, and cardiac surgery, with trauma cases excluded. The majority of cases are general, neuro, and GI, averaging 2500 per month. Required procedures include spinals and epidurals.
Weekday shifts run Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Providers are expected to work two weekend days per month, which need not be consecutive, and those weekend shifts are 12 hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The minimum is 20 shifts per month.
Candidates must have at least two years of experience, as new graduates are not accepted, and must hold an active Florida ARNP license. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NBCRNA, and PALS. Applicants must have no malpractice or background history.
