This locum tenens role for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist sits with a healthcare partner in Missouri and runs full-time, Monday through Friday, with regular hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Weekday call begins after scheduled cases, roughly 3:00 to 5:00 PM until 7:00 AM the next day, and weekend call runs from Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM, with Saturday and Sunday as 24-hour shifts. The provider covers call once per week and one weekend per month. Daily hours are not guaranteed, overtime applies after the scheduled shift, a 30-minute lunch is unpaid, and the end date is February 1, 2027.

The setting is both inpatient and outpatient. Anesthesia work includes general anesthesia for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients, with epidural anesthesia and regional nerve blocks preferred, along with MAC, spinal, obstetrical, complex orthopedic, complex vascular and thoracic cases, and central line placement is a plus. Neuro and cardiac cases are excluded. One site runs 24/7 call for general surgery and obstetrics, while the other covers general surgery, podiatry and ENT on weekdays.

Credentialing is estimated at 90 days, with temporary privileges available. Hospital or surgery center privileges are required, and the vendor supplies malpractice insurance. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, hold BLS certification, and have a Missouri license; an IMLC is not accepted. The nearest airport is Springfield Branson National Airport, and the Hampton Inn is the suggested lodging.
