St. Joseph's University Medical Center, part of St. Joseph's Health, is recruiting a full-time CRNA for its sites in Wayne and Paterson, New Jersey, and the posting says new graduates are welcome. The health system has been sponsored since 1867 by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth and also runs St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, St. Joseph's Wayne Medical Center, St. Vincent's Healthcare and Rehab Center, and Visiting Health Services of New Jersey, along with more than 36 satellite sites statewide.

The role covers anesthesia care across surgical cases in breast and bariatric, orthopedic, spine, endoscopy, vascular, urology, and neurology, and it excludes cardiac cases. The duties include pre-anesthesia evaluations, obtaining informed consent, developing and reviewing anesthetic plans with patients, managing induction, maintenance, and emergence, and monitoring patients and adjusting care as needed. The CRNA would also help with departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

The posted schedule has no nights, no call, and no weekends, with full-time hours of 36 to 40 per week available across the Wayne and Paterson locations.

Pay is listed as an hourly rate of $129.81, or $270K annually, with a $100K sign-on bonus.
