This per diem CRNA role at Pottstown Hospital in Pottstown, PA offers the chance to practice with a high degree of autonomy. The 232-bed short-term acute care hospital is a voluntary nonprofit facility within Tower Health, with treatment strengths in sports medicine, joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery, bone health conditions such as osteoporosis and arthritis, trauma and fracture care, and behavioral health.

Pay is listed as $155 per hour for W2 employees and $160 per hour for 1099 contractors. Providers are required to work four shifts per month. Case types include orthopedics, urology, vascular surgery, and other specialties, and CRNAs may be given the opportunity to perform regional nerve blocks at this site.

Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive anesthesia care across a range of surgical procedures, completing pre-anesthesia assessments and securing informed consent, and building and reviewing anesthetic plans with patients. The CRNA manages induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitors physiological status and intervenes as needed, and contributes to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registered professional nursing license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and current certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
