A permanent full-time cardiac CRNA position is available at a hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role is a 1099 independent contract with a full-scope practice, and the schedule is a four-day work week with no call, weekends, or holidays. Providers may also earn additional income by picking up general OR shifts.
The cardiac caseload includes roughly 500 open-heart procedures each year, such as CABGs, valve repairs and replacements, complex aortic work, LVAD placements, Impella cases, and ECMO. Heart transplants are not part of the caseload. In the hybrid suites, the anesthesia team covers about 250 TAVR procedures, 50 MitraClip cases, EVARs, and TCARs, again without heart transplants.
