This is a 190-day assignment in New York for an anesthetist, centered on daytime CRNA coverage in 8- or 10-hour shifts. The provider also takes part in an out-of-house call rotation at a 1:8 or 1:9 ratio covering nights and weekends.
The work spans operating room cases at a medical center and at an affiliated surgery center. The role includes overseeing other CRNAs and delivering anesthesia as needed across a varied caseload that includes obstetrics, general surgery, orthopedics, and neurology. Open heart cases are not required. The setting is inpatient, the facility uses Epic, and the provider works under the supervision of an anesthesiologist with other CRNAs on site. Board certification in anesthesiology is listed.
