A 120-day assignment in New York calls for a CRNA to provide daytime coverage in the operating room, with shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours available. The schedule also includes a 1:8 night and weekend call rotation.
The anesthetist would cover a varied mix of OR cases at a medical center, including obstetrics, general surgery, orthopedics, and some neuro procedures. Open heart cases are excluded. All work is performed under the supervision of an anesthesiologist.
Candidates should hold Anesthesiology board certification, and experience with the Epic EMR is listed as part of the environment. Compensation is described as strong, with travel-related expenses covered and A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided.
