Full details
This is a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan beginning April 6, 2026, seeking an anesthetist to provide operating room coverage and call. The patient mix is roughly 85 percent outpatient and 15 percent inpatient, and the anesthetist works independently during regular hours and on call while collaborating with MD anesthesiologists.
Call duties include weekend coverage, typically one weekend per month, and weekday call about one day in five. Cases span outpatient surgical and endoscopic procedures, obstetrics including labor epidurals and cesarean sections with spinal anesthesia, and a broad range of general surgery, urology, ENT, and orthopedic procedures. Experience with nerve blocks is considered an asset.
