Full details
A 250-day anesthesia assignment in Maine is available, with a start date of January 4, 2027. The successful candidate will deliver full anesthesia care for orthopedic, podiatric, and general surgical cases, including intubation, sedation, IV placement, and nerve blocks, and will work with a good degree of independence.
Most work takes place on day shifts, typically 7am to 5pm. The anesthetist may also be asked, on occasion, to help with trauma cases in the emergency department when the ED physician requests it. The facility has three operating rooms, one of which is dedicated to scope procedures, and the charting system is Cerner.
The package includes strong compensation, coverage of travel-related expenses, and A-rated medical malpractice insurance. A dedicated recruiter is also available for later assignments.
