Full details
A recurring 16-day assignment in Maine is available for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 5 PM.
The anesthetist works independently to provide intubation, sedation, and IV placement and management. Most cases are orthopedic and general surgery, along with podiatry, and include nerve blocks. The role spans three operating rooms, one of which is dedicated to scope procedures. The ED physician may occasionally call on the CRNA to help with trauma cases in the emergency room.
The setting is outpatient and clinic-based, with an out-of-house call schedule and about 5 patients per day. The CRNA works alongside two to three anesthesiologists, practicing independently. The facility uses Cerner as its electronic medical record.
Benefits include strong compensation, covered travel-related expenses, and A-rated medical malpractice insurance. A dedicated recruiter is available to discuss future travel opportunities.
