This opening is a short-term assignment in North Carolina seeking an experienced anesthetist to work daily shifts alongside an in-house call rotation. The provider will give intravenous, general, and regional anesthesia, with regional skills viewed favorably, to keep patients free of pain during operations and obstetric deliveries and other procedures.
The caseload spans general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, cesarean sections, and optometry-related cases. The setting is inpatient, and the provider joins an anesthesia support team.
Candidates should hold Anesthesiology board certification and maintain ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and ABLS credentials. Meditech experience is part of the electronic record system used.
