The role centers on daytime cases, with call taken once or twice a week. Call coverage draws on operating room and obstetric work; weeknight call runs overnight, while weekend call extends across a full day and night period.
Surgical exposure is wide, spanning general and orthopedic procedures (including joint replacements), urology, ENT, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, and anesthesia for radiology procedures. The clinician joins a multi-clinician anesthesia group.
