Full details
This 180-day assignment in Nebraska calls for a certified registered nurse anesthetist to deliver anesthesia care across a varied surgical caseload, including general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, podiatry, dental, gynecology, eye, and hand procedures. The role covers administering neuromuscular blocks, managing pediatric cases, and closely tracking patient vital signs and physiological responses through every phase of surgery.
After procedures, the CRNA remains responsible for recovery in Phase 1 or the PACU until each patient meets the criteria for transfer or discharge.
Daily volume typically ranges from 5 to 15 patients, depending on the day's cases. The team includes CRNAs, anesthesiologists, and surgeons, and CRNAs generally practice independently with physician support available when needed.
Required credentials are ACLS, BLS, and PALS, along with board certification in anesthesiology. The practice uses the HST electronic medical record system.
The package includes strong compensation, coverage of travel-related expenses, and A-rated medical malpractice insurance. A dedicated recruiter is available for future travel assignments.
