Research Medical Center's anesthesia practice in Kansas City, Missouri is built on mutual support and professional growth. The group includes 27 CRNAs and 10 physicians, and CRNAs are guided by a Chief CRNA and a Chief MD who promote respect, development, and collaboration. Practitioners work at the top of their license on a wide range of complex cases.

The team's scheduling is built around collaboration and an on-call model. CRNAs may select from several shift lengths, hand off patients smoothly, and help one another during high-acuity procedures. Shift swapping is easy, which supports balance between work and life. The position carries no call and no weekend duty.

Cases cover trauma, both blunt and penetrating, along with general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, burns, and obstetrics and gynecology.

Research Medical Center is a large regional hospital, a Level I trauma center, and a certified comprehensive stroke center. Its programs include a traumatic brain injury and burn center, oncology care alongside a national cancer institute, a Level III neonatal ICU, round-the-clock obstetrics and emergency services, and a transplant institute with a pain relief center.

Compensation is listed at 245k per year on a W-2 basis or 275,319 per year on a 1099 basis. The package also includes 8 weeks of scheduled time off and a substantial sign-on bonus.
