The role is a Vice Chief CRNA position at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate, Florida, where the anesthesia group is looking for an experienced CRNA to help lead a busy, high-performing team while continuing to provide hands-on clinical care. The position is open to full-time, part-time, and PRN arrangements.

In this leadership capacity, the vice chief works alongside the Chief CRNA and medical leadership to oversee clinical operations, quality improvement efforts, scheduling, and staff development. The role also balances direct patient care with input into strategic and operational decisions, and it includes mentoring colleagues, bringing new clinicians on board, and supporting professional growth within the department.

The anesthesia department includes 17 physicians and 13 advanced practice providers, and the group works closely with anesthesiologists and APPs in a collaborative setting. The practice does not cover cardiac anesthesia or pediatric cases. Its caseload centers on bariatric and bypass surgery, obstetrics, electrophysiology and transesophageal echocardiography, neuro and interventional radiology, and endoscopy, with 125 to 150 obstetric anesthetics each month.

The department operates across nine operating rooms, two dedicated obstetric rooms, and separate endoscopy, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology suites. The group also hosts an ACGME-accredited residency program.

The hospital is a 289-bed, full-service community facility serving Coral Springs, Parkland, Coconut Creek, Margate, and Deerfield Beach.
