The position is a CRNA opening in Southeast Michigan at a general medical and surgical hospital. The role is assigned to surgery on a weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, with no weekends and no call, and the start date is as soon as possible. Compensation is described as competitive, with a sign-on bonus of $40K and comprehensive retirement benefits.

Candidates should be board certified as nurse anesthetists and hold a Michigan license, along with ACLS and BLS certification, a DEA registration, and at least two years of experience. The work involves pre-anesthesia evaluations and individualized anesthesia plans, delivering general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care alongside surgeons and other providers, and watching patients during procedures while handling any anesthesia complications. The anesthetist also provides post-anesthesia recovery and pain control. Patients of every age and ASA class are covered, including children and older adults, and airway management is provided across the hospital as needed. Some travel to other ambulatory sites may be required.
