Full details

The schedule is 12-hour days, 07:00 to 19:30. Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital in Florida is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join its Anesthesiology department. The anesthesia team handles all procedures except trauma, obstetric, open heart, and liver cases, and works alongside CRNAs, CAAs, and MDAs in a collegial setting.

The position centers on delivering anesthetic care that supports diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include completing and charting a pre-anesthetic assessment, building and carrying out an anesthetic plan that covers monitoring and post-anesthesia follow-up, and selecting and administering anesthesia through induction, maintenance, and emergence. The CRNA must spot changes in a patient's physiologic response to surgery or anesthesia, act on them, and alert the responsible physician when needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited CRNA program and hold a current RN license and CRNA license from the Ohio Board of Nursing. Current NBCRNA certification and continued professional certification (CPC) are required, along with State Board of Nursing endorsement. BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association are mandatory, while PALS and NRP may be required depending on the work area. The role calls for sound judgment, the ability to work with limited supervision, and composure in high-pressure settings.

The benefits package includes a competitive salary and supplemental pay, sign-on bonuses for qualifying new graduates and experienced providers, and student loan repayment. Paid time off and six paid holidays are offered, along with a CEU package, internal education opportunities, and professional reimbursements. Medical, dental, and vision coverage starts on the first day, and employer-paid life insurance and disability coverage are available to full-time staff. Full-time caregivers also receive parental leave at full pay for up to 12 weeks, plus relocation help, paid interview expenses, and a retirement savings plan with employer contributions of up to 5.5%. Malpractice coverage is provided at no cost, and research and teaching roles are optional. The employer is eligible for Public Student Loan Forgiveness.

Weston sits in Broward County just west of Fort Lauderdale and is roughly 30 miles northwest of Miami, forming part of the Miami metropolitan area.
