Full details
The schedule is 8-hour days, 07:00 to 15:00. The practice in Rhode Island is seeking a certified registered nurse anesthetist for a long-term locum assignment beginning in March. The role covers a broad case mix that includes general, endoscopy, obstetrics (roughly 450 deliveries), orthopedics (some spine), urology, gynecology, podiatry, and cardiac work, the latter including about 380 cath lab and TEE cases per year. The anesthesia team consists of MDs and CRNAs.
Call duties are part of the role: the provider takes primary call on every third weeknight and every fourth weekend, with on-call coverage running overnight. Candidates need an active Rhode Island license or must be willing to obtain one, with the employer reimbursing the cost. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA certification) are also required.
Compensation is described as competitive hourly rates. The staffing firm states that malpractice insurance is covered and that travel and accommodations are paid. Referral bonuses of up to $2500 are offered to people who refer a colleague who is hired for the position.
