Full details
This locum CRNA role in North Carolina is based at a busy Level I Trauma Center recognized for its strong anesthesia team, supportive leadership, and welcoming atmosphere. It offers ongoing locum coverage at an established, high-quality facility, and credentialing is expedited, with temporary privileges reportedly granted in roughly 30 to 60 days.
The setting is a teaching hospital with a collaborative, fairly independent practice model. Anesthesia physicians handle pre-operative work and most arterial lines, so the CRNA can concentrate on delivering anesthesia in the operating room. The facility has 37 operating rooms along with dedicated GI and OB suites, and surgeons generally keep a steady pace, with providers often managing two to three cases during a shift outside of GI.
Anticipated cases span general surgery, neurology, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, obstetric, robotic, interventional radiology, pediatric, urologic, and outpatient procedures. Cardiac cases are excluded, as are newborn, NICU, and neonatal patients.
Scheduling is flexible, with options across several shift lengths. Weekend work is available but not required. The anesthesia group has served the community for more than five decades and is known for its culture and leadership, and many locum CRNAs choose to extend their assignments.
