Full details

The schedule is four 10-hour days a week, 07:00 to 17:00. The role is a contract position at an acute care facility in Sumter, SC, centered on general anesthesia in a routine, high-volume setting without cardiac, neurological, or obstetric cases. The anesthetist would handle roughly 15 to 30 patients a day spanning pediatric through adult ages, so comfort with children is an expected part of the regular workload. Documentation is kept in the Epic EMR system.

Weekday daytime work runs Monday through Friday, with no on-call duties. The contract is described as all-inclusive. The opening is tied to an urgent backfill need, and candidates holding an active South Carolina license may qualify for an expedited credentialing and privileging timeline.

Applicants need an active South Carolina CRNA license, since out-of-state interstate compacts are not accepted, plus NBCRNA certification, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials, and at least two years of CRNA practice after training. A clean malpractice record is required, and any prior history must be disclosed before submission. Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility; local applicants are not considered. Prior Epic experience is a plus and can allow a candidate to skip part of the virtual training. Broad experience across mixed adult and pediatric populations and in busy OR settings is also preferred.

Benefits include malpractice insurance coverage, weekly electronic paychecks, and a $2,000 referral bonus program.
