Full details
This locum tenens opening in Indiana calls for a CRNA to provide anesthesia coverage across a mix of operating room and obstetric cases in a hospital setting where MDs are on site and supervision is limited. Clinical scope spans endoscopy, OB and GYN, pediatrics, urology, ENT, general surgery, and orthopedics. Proficiency with spinals, blocks, and epidurals is required, and candidates must document these procedures through case logs.
Daytime coverage runs on weekdays, with one late-room assignment that extends later into the afternoon and carries no call duty. Overnight call is taken on a rotating basis and includes obstetric call, with a 20-minute response expectation. The weekly schedule and call pattern are otherwise set out in the posting's schedule fields.
Qualifications include an active Indiana license, enrollment in the Indiana Patient Compensation Fund, and whatever certifications the site specifies. Applicants should have practiced clinically within a recent window, as detailed by the posting's experience requirement. Vaccination is required, though religious and medical exemptions may be accepted depending on the situation.
Credentialing is expected to take roughly two to three months. Benefits include malpractice insurance coverage, weekly electronic pay, and a referral incentive program. Travel and lodging support may be available, and the facility uses the Cerner EMR system.
