Full details
The role calls for a CRNA to provide anesthesia coverage in a Florida hospital, with a broad mix of surgical cases that includes trauma. Two openings are available. The work may combine daytime blocks with call coverage, depending on how the schedule is built, and providers available for weekday and weekend call may be given priority. Multiple block lengths are offered.
Cases may span cardiac, thoracic, orthopedic, neurologic, trauma, general surgery, gastrointestinal, and major vascular procedures, along with other high-acuity services described in the order details. Familiarity with transesophageal echocardiography is required, and the facility uses Cerner for its electronic records.
Candidates need current CRNA certification, an active Florida license, a DEA registration, BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association, and a TB test. The employer also expects recent case logs to be supplied when requested. A radius restriction may apply, and payer enrollment may need to be completed before credentialing.
Travel and lodging are arranged as described in the order details. Benefits include malpractice insurance and weekly electronic pay. A referral bonus of $2,000 per referral is offered through a refer-and-earn program.
Florida assignments may require a Level 2 background screening through the state's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse before placement.
