Full details
The position is a CRNA opening in Florida at a high acuity hospital that provides Level 1 trauma and pediatric trauma care. Three openings are listed. Scheduling is offered in several block lengths spanning day, evening, and overnight periods, and day blocks along with call duties may be part of the role depending on the department's needs. Candidates who can take call and work weekends may receive priority.
The anesthesia caseload is broad and includes trauma and pediatric procedures, and obstetric experience is a plus. Familiarity with pediatric patients is strongly encouraged, though it becomes a firm requirement for anyone covering weekends or call. The facility uses Cerner for its electronic medical records.
Applicants need current CRNA certification, an active Florida license, and a DEA registration. They must also hold BLS and ACLS credentials from the American Heart Association, PALS certification, and a current TB test, and provide recent case logs when requested. A radius restriction may apply to this assignment.
Travel and lodging are covered as detailed in the order information. Benefits include malpractice insurance and weekly electronic payment. A referral program pays $2,000 for each successful referral. Florida assignments may require a Level 2 background screening through the state's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse before placement.
