Full details

The role is a part-time CRNA position with an ambulatory anesthesia group that works only with ambulatory surgery centers. The CRNA delivers safe, high-quality anesthesia to patients having surgical and procedural care, working within a collaborative model alongside anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and center leadership under the standards of the group.

Responsibilities span the full perioperative course: completing pre-anesthetic evaluations and risk assessments, building individualized anesthesia plans, and providing general, regional, monitored anesthesia care, and sedation. The CRNA manages airways, hemodynamics, fluids, and anesthetic depth, handles post-anesthesia recovery and discharge readiness, and responds to emergencies using ACLS-based care. Accurate records in the electronic health record, adherence to protocols and regulatory rules, and participation in peer review and quality initiatives are also expected.

Candidates need current CRNA certification from the NBCRNA, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and active, unrestricted RN and APRN licensure in the practicing state. Current ACLS and BLS are required, with PALS where the facility asks for it, and the candidate must be eligible for credentialing and privileging at surgery centers. Prior ASC or outpatient experience, regional and ultrasound-guided skills, and familiarity with SIS Epic and Cerner are preferred.

The position is hourly and W-2, with a Monday through Friday schedule and no call, nights, or weekends. The posting sets a minimum number of working days per week. Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, a 401(k) with profit sharing, life insurance, and long-term disability. The work involves extended standing, manual tasks, and the flexibility to adjust to case volume.
