This is a permanent, full-time staff position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in East Chicago, Indiana. The role is a salaried-style employed post with a full benefits package, and the practice uses the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Weekday work is the baseline for the role, and the practice aims to finish elective cases before the late afternoon. CRNAs take a turn on call roughly one weekend a month, serving as a second line behind the anesthesiologists. A second-call CRNA is brought in when more than one operating room is active past the end of the regular day on a weekday, or when the same situation arises on a weekend.

When the team is fully staffed, three CRNAs share a rotation that includes weeknights and weekends, and the monthly schedules are posted in advance.

Pay is quoted as an hourly rate: $135 to $150 an hour for W-2 employment, or $205 an hour for a 1099 arrangement.
